A DAY-TRIP TO BOURNEMOUTH COAST

The summer month has been going really good in UK. I cannot say how elated I am with such sunny spells. It had begun on a bad note with overcast skies, drizzles and thunderstorms. But what followed is what either reports claim as the heat wave. But having an Indian origin I actually know the meaning of a heat wave so this is like spring for me. I am throughly enjoying every bit of it cooking, barbecuing and travelling with my family. This year due to some professional commitments we haven’t travelled out of United kingdom. But if you have followed my travel & places blog posts then you would know how much I love Globe trotting. From basking in Nice, treading in Eze, following hemingway to Ronda, tapping my feet in Seville and colouring rainbows in Burano. There is so much to write about many other odd and even places.

Last week, we decided to visit places within UK. The trip to Bournemouth coast has been a very refreshing experience. Not very drenched in history nor the hunt of a story. It was about nonchalant fun and in the wake of Brexit, I felt more like an observant. the blending of cultures and coercing one voice that fun is ethereal you can’t draw lines.

The world of photography is vivid and it gives you the strength to capture the fluidity of motion in a frame. I spent the world photography day doing just that. This photographic essay narrates life on the beach. The beauty of these photographs are they are taken from one single location. The camera rotated in 360 degree angle. The idea of an observer is not mobile but stationed. Observe the angles carefully. 😉

Bournemouth is a beautiful 7 mile stretch of white sand. The beach has water sports, kite flying, eating hubs and is quite popular among party goers. There are cafes, shops, amusement arcades, an IMAX cinema and oceanarium all within minutes from the beach. The real party begins after evening falls. A train from London Waterloo reaches Bournemouth in 2hr 15 mins.

In every outthrust headland, in every curving beach, in every grain of sand there is the story of the earth. Rachel Carson
