Mummy Do you love me ? | Avocado Salsa

Avocado

I know the title is a bit weird..but this is seriously something i have been contemplating for quite sometime now.I have a growing toddler and feeding pattern is not a cake walk for sure. The junk food never raises an eyebrow…its the healthy food which makes their eyes pop and mouth shut.Without delving into the current woes of motherhood I would straight go to my flashback to prove what goes does come back. 😉

This is how a day in the life of my mother looked like.

Get up in the morning prepare breakfast and our lunch box.

Trail behind the naughtiest brat (That’s me) for a glass of milk which also was fed to the basil plant.Check About Roy!

Get statutory warnings of preparing something exotic as I need to share my lunchbox with my classmates. Girlie needs to flaunt.

In a month forget the lunch box at home for the nth time.Plead dad to drop it at school.

Get frowning faces for the beautifully laid lunch at home in the afternoon.

Clean the glass from broken bottles of cashews, crisps and chocolates which were kept out of reach from hungry urchins like us.

Rush to the market for last minute requests of our favorite chicken curry.

Stuff veggies into our mouth with evergreen mythological stories and her childhood anecdotes.

Phew to all this,If she were there with me I would ask Mummy Do you love me? What would she answer?

For this I would like to quote a few lines from the children book Mummy Do you Love me ? BY Jeanne Willis. “Little chick,” she said “sometimes you make me mad, sometimes you make me sad, but no matter what you say or do,I will always love you.” The relationship between a woman and her mother is so powerful, it affects everything from her health and self-esteem to all her other relationships.

NoisyAvacado

I have chosen healthy Avocado – A real super food.Due to its beneficial raw fat content, avocado enables your body to more efficiently absorb fat-soluble nutrients (such as alpha- and beta-carotene and lutein) in other foods eaten in conjunction.
